Mambo Mojito!

This week it's been HOT here. 33C today. You know I love the heat! And I also love to sip on refreshing drinks and eat lots of juicy fruit in this weather. I've been making mojitos lately - Virgin ones but you could easily add some rum to kick it up!

What's your favourite summer time drink?

Here's my easy recipe for a virgin mojito... well maybe not a recipe, more of a guideline. Play with rations to get it to your liking. It's sweetened with just a few drops of stevia - sometimes lemon stevia! This serves one if made in a big glass, or same amount into two smaller glasses.

Mambo Mojito

Juice of 1 lime
Small handful fresh mint leaves
Stevia, to taste
Big handful of ice
Sparkling water

Add the ice to a large glass and squeeze the lime over the ice.
Add the whole mint leaves
Fill the glass with the sparkling water.
Sweeten, to taste, with stevia.
Stir everything together. Stick your glass straw in the drink and get sipping!

Check out the beautiful sunset the other night! J and I went fishing from the shore the other night. Well, he fished while I took pics.

Guess what?! I actually have a savory recipe coming up next. Been a while! Another ice cream recipe coming up too!

Go try a mojito!

Mojitos re so great in the summer! Plus this one is actually hydrating unlike the not-so-virgin counterpart ;)

I'm so boring. Can you believe my favorite drink is actually plain water? Then, I also have been enjoying a lot of yummy smoothies this summer.
