Sweetly Raw – Maple Peanut Butter Granola & Paleo Granola
Have you ever made your own granola? Its REALLY easy to do and it allows you to control what goes into it. Lets face it, most store bought granola is filled with sugar and bad oil.
Today I'm sharing recipes for Maple Peanut Butter Granola AND Nutty Paleo Granola! Both are vegan and gluten free.
My deep love for peanut butter inspired this recipe. I've been loving it with coconut yogurt and by the handful along with some dark chocolate chunks.
Can't do peanut butter? No problemo! Use almond butter or tahini - just make sure that it's on the runny side.
Maple Peanut Butter Granola
3 cups oats*
1 cup shredded or flaked coconut
1 cup nuts/seeds of choice
1/4 cup sesame or hemp seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 - 1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
Preheat an oven to 325F. Stir the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Stir the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl and then add to the dry mixture. Stir together well. Spread a thin layer over 1-2 baking sheets. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and fragrant. Store at room temperature in a sealed container.
*Gluten free oats if needed.
