Vegan Peanut Butter Balls and a GIVEAWAY

img_1741

Hey guys! I hope you're having a great week. How is it already the middle of November?! The holidays are upon us and that means lots of yummy food - especially treats. Unfortunately this means the potential for unwanted weight gain. Forget it. You know my motto by now. "Have your cake and eat it too"! Yes we can enjoy your sweet treats without that extra bulge sneaking up. This is why I only eat healthy treats that are dairy free, refined sugar free, gluten free, and mostly grain free.

Man, if I ate the "white flour - white sugar - dairy laden" desserts in the same amounts that I eat the healthy ones, I swear I'd weight 300 lbs. No joke.

Today I have a new recipe for healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls that are vegan - gluten free - paleo. Perfect for the holidays. PB and chocolate is one of my favourite combos!

When I get them home I immediately freeze half so not to gorge too much and then for about 6 months I enjoy one every now and then! Thank You, for these wonderful healthy recipes. I love to cook varieties of foods and stay within the "healthy" agenda. Many meals from the 1940's to the days of the internet seem to be designed for active farming communities that likely needed more calories to burn for that type of working environment. Today our ways of life are quite different, and our food should accommodate our modern life style.

Hi, Heather! First of all, I would like to thank you for all your out-of-this-world delicious recipes and mouthwatering photos! So it would be a great present for me this year to have a chance to win your Raw Chocolate Dream Cookbook and to share the recipes from it with my family and colleagues at work. Btw, the last ones have been so keen on heathly sweets lately - it's amazing and I don't feel alone now :) What about my favourite holiday dessert? I don't know why but for the last several years it has been old-fashioned Carrot Cake - both raw and baked. Maybe it is always appears different? Neretheless, we never get bored with this :) And one more thing that we always have beside all holiday desserts is raw dark chocolate to "clear" the taste (as it is able to say :)) or for those who isn't in the mood to eat the same Carrot Cake (just because it has a vegetable inside :)) Wish you a marvelous holiday season and a Happy New Year (it will be very soon!)! Best regards from Russia! :) Yourth faithfully, Marie P.S. And I'm so sorry for ma English, especially, grammar :)
