Chocolate Thick Shake & The Best Green Dip

I have a few new recipes to share with you today! I've been on a keto diet for a week now in order to heal some gut issues and WOW, I've had huge success already. I'm going to share a video about it on my YouTube channel soon.

One hot afternoon last week I was in the mood for something frosty and chocolatey, and so this ultra creamy chocolate thick shake was born. It's keto, vegan, and paleo - it's totally sugar free. It was satisfying and kept me feeling full for hours.

If you follow me on Instagram and have ever watched my insta-stories, you know how much I LOVE green dip. I make a batch at least once a week and pretty much always have a jar in my fridge. I enjoy it with veggies, on crackers, use it as salad dressing, or add a scoop to many of my meals. Oh, and I eat it by the spoonful sometimes lol.


This is such a great way to get more greens into your diet. You can use spinach and/or any herbs of your choice. I often use parsley and cilantro but I've also added spinach, dill, and basil - and I've tried every combination.

You can add more or less water to make it thinner or thicker, so it's quite versatile. You can also enjoyed it as a creamy pasta sauce!

Now let's get our chocolate fix, shall we?!

This recipe is really simple - only 4 ingredients. You can add the stevia or omit it and rely on the subtle sweetness of the coconut milk. Note: I like to use just enough stevia to create a little sweetness without the bitter taste. That's the secret to using stevia.

Chocolate Thick Shake

3/4 cup full fat coconut milk

1/2 avocado

2 tablespoons cacao powder

10 drops stevia, optional

1 cup ice cubes (5-6 large)

Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Chocolate Drizzle

For the chocolate drizzle I melted down some 100% chocolate - this has NO sweetness at all. You can really use any chocolate of your choice. Use a spoon to drizzle it on the inside of the glass right before spooning the shake into it.
